Re: US Army to La Rochelle
Probably less then that, it seems part of the helo’s will be unloaded in La Rochelle, and another part of them will be delivered to Volos, Greece.
Re: US Army to La Rochelle
The article suggests 60 at La Rochelle.
Re: US Army to La Rochelle
by quirk of chance I'll be in La Rochelle from the 18th. I guess they will all be gone by then...?
Re: US Army to La Rochelle
No doubt a couple of bent stragglers on the dockside!
Re: US Army to La Rochelle
If any stragglers are still there by that time, it is doubtful if they will be visible (don’t know the port of La Rochelle). But the US Army put walls of containers around the docks they were using in Bremerhaven, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam. So don’t put your hopes too high unfortunately.
Re: US Army to La Rochelle
Looks like there is only one quayside that will be able to handle a ship capable of transporting helicopters and access doesn’t look promising land side. Will these helicopters re locate to a nearby airfield before heading further into Europe?
