Heartbreaking. Such a beautiful, talented, religious young couple. He surely was the Chosen one. May he rest in peace.

Very sad,but well done to the person who thought of the current Fighter Control Header.
Re: F-15 crash 15/6/2020
....and not one mention of yesterdays "missing man formation" ceremony here, or in the the Lakenheath section!
Apologies if I missed it.
Apologies if I missed it.
Re: F-15 crash 15/6/2020
It was mentioned in the Lakenheath movements thread for 18 June https://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/ ... 8&t=190990 in UK Heads Up, Movements and OTT.
Re: F-15 crash 15/6/2020
Not sure what your point is? It was mentioned but also you are free to post something yourself that you are aware of but haven't seen mentioned elsewhere?

I did hear Hammer flight on the box but as I wasn't at Lakenheath I didn't want to speculate on such a sensitive subject and get it wrong again.

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
Re: F-15 crash 15/6/2020
A great tribute but must be very upsetting for those taking part.

Re: F-15 crash 15/6/2020
The internal USAF safety investigation report (SIB) for this incident has been published and is "....rough to read. The board president pulled no punches." Suggestion that it's related to the USAF's poor attitude to safety that've been raised in other recent safety reports.
The public AIB report in the future may give clues about just what.
