Swanwick Control

Anyone know what went pop at Swanwick earlier? Apparently they had some technical issues and a lot of flights were cancelled.
Or was it just more staff shortages.

It wasn’t staff shortages it was a technical issue.

And they are talking about doing the atc for some airports from a central place in the UK. This could be dangerous it there are to many glitches!!

Not so sure there are too many glitches proportionally, and mitigated by building in contingency, multi and disparately routed data links etc etc.

They already do.
