Bastille Day Flypast

Post by Snoop 95 » Sun Jul 14, 2019 12:53 pm

I see on the BBC News website that the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris included a flypast. The first phase (on the BBC video) consists of a Rafale - obviously from the Armee de L'Air but it is flanked by an F16 and a Tornado; neither of which are in the FAF inventory. President Trump is there as is Angela Merkel, so the aircraft could be USAF and Luftwaffe. I maybe drawing an incorrect conclusion based on flimsy evidence, so does anyone know whose the F16 and Tornado are?

KLU F16, GAF Tornado, believe RAF Typhoon was invited to participate as well but not sure Donald was there today.

Think you might be right about President Trump. The video rolled into the next clip which showed Macron and Trump together and I assumed.........
