Looking at 360Radar there is a UH-1 (Resq 87) heading in the direction of Malchow. I hope they managed to eject.

Very sad to hear a pilot died...someone on ukar going on will it affect RIAT? I mean really?....come on as if that is important at a time like this when someone has died.

Terrible news. May he or she rest in peace. Hope the other pilot ok and not too badly injured.

Reminds us of the daily risks they take defending our/their skies.

With a son in the RAF these things always seem too close to home.
