The worst war movie EVER!

I have just partly watched the worst war movie I have ever seen,Lancaster Skies.The crew of the Lancaster were strolling around the airfield with their hands in their pockets,battledress unbuttoned ,and hatless, this only a few of the gross errors in the film .The producers of this film forgot that the RAF was a military service with discipline that was strictly enforced .The story itself was total rubbish,and I only watched 45 mins of it before I gave up totally disappointed.Why can`t us British produce decent war films anymore ? You can`t beat the Dambusters!

Yes, I watched it too! Dreadful film. Only good bit was recognising some of it was at East Kirkby.
Don't waste your money...

I've heard so many good reviews about it, it was on at the local independent cinema in Woodhall spa multiple times and sold out each time, it's also on the top 6 in the current UK dvd sales charts I believe. I havent seen it so can't comment, but it sounds like it tried to cater for a wide audience, rather than the aviation community.
