Replacement for USN EP-3/P-3SPA

Good Evening all,
With the recent (final ?) transits through the UK of regular and ' interesting ' P3/EP3 Orion would anyone be able to advise if we are likely to see a similar utilisation of some of the P8 fleet for similar duties in future ?
I have found this link noting a possible change in scope for the P8 but this is more of a project to replace old USAF E8 platforms as that threat has continued to evolve :

Essentially will a subset of the P8 fleet ever be used like the P-3SPA's for their 'shadowy' role ?

Current plan is to replace EP-3s with the Triton version of the Global Hawk.
