Afternoon All
Anyone know when the Red Arrows are performing at an airshow, and when the front section Enid split to allow Gypo to do their display. Does Enid stay on the same frequency or do they go on another while they are holding off at another point of the airfield as the Gypo display may last 5 minutes or more?

Hello,
They always use the same the frequency through out the display, both Enid and Gypo talk to each other and give commands. Red 10 is also tuned in to the same frequency.
in the 2nd half of the display they tend to do one pass/ maneuver each to keep the flow going, so they are never far from the display center.

If you want to know about the reds there was a great programme on ch5 6 part series that just finished last week that you might get on catch up or YouTube was called Red Arrows Kings of the sky....Just shows how good our boys really are when you watch that programme.

Thanks all, yes I saw the Red Arrows Documentary on CH 5 it was well made, and best I've seen about the arrows.
