Air Cadets question

Sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum but does anyone happen to know wether Sir Chris Hoy is still involved with Air Cadets? I know all about Carol Vorderman being some Ambassador or something but have hardly ever heard anything about wether Sir Chris Hoy is still being involved in The Organisation.

I don't know for certain but Ms Vorderman succeeded Sir Chris in the role of ambassador and the rank of Honorary Group Captain so I guess he may no longer be involved.

So it sounds like he wasn’t in the position very long then. Shame both Hoy and Vorderman couldn’t both have been Ambassadors or whatever they were/are together.
