Question One is - Was Fighter Control going way back in 1994 as I have been looking for pictures of AME - F/A18's at RAF COLTISHALL 04.10.1994 when they visited for the Exercise - "Brilliant Foil"
Question Two is - has anyone got any shots of the Final Jaguar take off by Station Commander Graham Wright, because at the time I was employed there as a civvy Fwd Del driver and whilst in conversation with Mick Jennings MBE he had informed me that that Final Flypast would be coming down to 100ft
being civvy obviously camera's were not allowed but I was able to stand on the 41/54 pan area and when it happened WOW!!
there were several military personal taking shots of this occasion, but I have only memories so if you were there and did manage to get shots of this occasion it would be really great to see them
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: A Couple of Questions
Internet only started to become mainstream in 1996/97 and it was poor. However I dare say that members have what you’re after in slide/photograph format.
Surprised that Coltishall didn’t allow civvie workers to have cameras on base, I worked at Lossie 1990-2003 and always had my camera to hand, only had to apply for a photo permit same as anybody else.

Re: A Couple of Questions
hi Thunder, I guess its all about knowing what you can get away with but on arrival I was given a do's & don'ts printout to which I stuck too, because at the end of the day the job was money in the pocket whereas pictures were not, and also I was only an agency employee
Also after being there for a while it was pointed out to me of a visiting A/c due to which a Sgt to whom I answered to told me if he had known I was a spotter type he would not have allowed me around his Jaguars. the reply was got no interest in your Jaguars anyhow!!
