cheers Mark I thought so, the reason I asked about 30 mins ago just caught sight of a big yellow chopper on approach to Lincoln County Hospital I don't know why but it jut looked like a seaking and NOT the lincs air ambulance I see nearly every day looked a lot bigger very strange, think I need specsavers

The Waddo air ambulance is a now bigger machine from the old MD rotor less bird. Could have been that?

Oh I miss my mighty 3/3A fleet.
They were nothing short of being a yellow vibrating portacabin, but 3yrs at Sunny St Mawgan made up for it.

Wednesday night's BBC South West news showed the AEW Sea Kings making their final flight from Culdrose as they bow out of service.
An officer was explaining the airframes are fifty years old, they are used every day and still keep going. Only two were able to take part in the flypast though.

Strictly speaking the pair that flew the last flypast were mere youngsters at 38 and 32 years old. The first Sea Kings arrived at Culdrose in about 1969.
