I may be biased as I spent most of my time in the RAF at Lossiemouth, but I always liked the station crest with the Snowy Owl in it.

The crest & motto from RAF Woodvale are the same as used today by Support Command.

I believe Woodvale never had it's own crest, however this year for RAF100 they've had a competition to design one. Earlier I cycled past and it wasn't on the main gate yet.

Now what's the Latin for "fix our main runway please" as a motto

I have always enjoyed the story that the RAF Scampton Crest, of a bow and arrow, represents the main runway with the arrow and the bow is the curve of the A15 which was bent when the runway was extended for the Vulcans having been perfectly straight since the Romans.
