Not exactly:

Brimstone is now integrated on Typhoon.

Tornado has not returned from Shader and continues to fly operational sorties.

The GR4 fleet remains on the frontline and therefore available for ops until the OSD of 31 Mar 19.
Thanks for the update, its nice to know they are still being used on Shader.
Still flying on Shader. See two GR4s noted over Israel heading back to Cyprus.

Lies, damn lies and statistics
The amount of UK participation varies by model and customer. It's most for the B as RR is involved additionally for the lift fan in that model. It's least in the Israeli A model as they have fitted there own counter measure suite rather than the BAe system (this goes against the whole JSF principles but hey it's the Israelis).

617 is 52% RAF and 48% Navy. FAA 802 (iirc) is the next to stand up and will be 52% Navy and 48% RAF. Repeat for the next 2 Squadrons. After that all bets are off.

I thought the European major service centre was in Italy?

The Shader Tornado's are due back before the end of Jan. At that point the only Tornado flights required will be for crew currency until they transfer to other squadrons.

809 NAS is next after 207 Sqn as OCU.
