I got to see the Cessna's on their final ever public display (Hawkeye) in Bray, it will be sad to see them go. They served the IAC so well. But a good investment for the future.
The CASAs are also due to be replaced in 2019. I wonder what will take it's place?

During a visit to Baldonnel, we were told new CASA aircraft were most favoured.

Is this not a 1st April Prank?
There was another PC 12 seen in this c/s at Buochs lately

The photo on the IAC twitter page shows 280 in a grey scheme:

They are getting three in an ISR configuration - the grey ones, being worked on by Sierra Nevada, and then the single transport configured aircraft, a hack as reported by Kurnass.

Thursday 2nd April
HB-FXT PC-12/47E "PCH898" (c/n 1898) arrived on delivery to the Irish Air Corps.
It wears serial '280' on the tail and is an additional aircraft to the original order for three PC12s.
These aircraft are currently in Denver being fitted out prior to delivery later this year.
Photos have previously shown c/n 1795 painted as '280', so with the acquisition of c/n 1898 I guess the allocation of serials of the others will change.
(Copied from scramble) so it was not an April Fools Day prank

I searched a little on the web and found out this is the c/s of a Chinese Company: Asian Express Aviation.
There were at least 3 PC-12's seen in this c/s at Pilatus/Buochs in 2019/2018. Probably they cancelled the order or got bankrupt and the IAC could buy a cheap new PC-12
