Avro Shackleton website query

Does anyone have any information regarding website "avroshackleton.com"

My 'link' this site now brings up a page containing 'adverts' for models, including Shackletons!
Until recently, this excellent website listed individual histories of all the Shackleton produced, with Units, dates, as well as plenty of interesting 'facts' on the type

Is the site still active, with perhaps a 'change of name', or is it now 'defunct'? The latter would be a great shame, as extremely useful for researching 'old logs' etc.

Any info would be gratefully received.

Looks like the Shack site has gone - the Google entry says 'This domain name is for sale through the Snapnames platform'. Sad to see it go; it was a good site for info on the surviving airframes.

The keeper of the site John "Mo" Botwood, former Air Signaller on Shackletons who lived in Australia, died recently. This is possibly the reason for the website no longer being available.

Sad to hear that.
Was an excellent website regarding the 'Shack'.
Great memories of them regularly visiting RAF Turnhouse, with almost daily sightings 'over the top' routing f/t RAF Kinloss

Hi sandywatt28 I remember the AEW's from Lossiemouth circling over the top routing the EDN hold over Edinburgh eventually for an approach for the main runway and the most memorable thing was that distinctive engine sound/noise.......
