RAF Valley

Is there much flying at Valley these days ? In the area Wednesday and was going to call, looked on the RAF Valley section and not to many recent reports

Nowhere near as busy as it used to be, especially now the T1's have gone. All of the T2's are now back following their various jaunts due to the runway work though.

Since returning from Deci, 4 Sqn have stepped up the tempo of their flying programme so yes, Valley is quite busy these days, though with only one runway in use, there are days when crosswinds will put a stop to flying. It is hoped that when the main runway reopens in a couple of months it will become busier still, with the potential for some exotic visitors.
