I hope that you are not referring to Turkish F-16s. According to
viewtopic.php?f=74&t=129876, they are supposed to have cancelled.

What language is the orignal post written in?
As Bob said, Turkish F-16s have supposedly cancelled.

Yoofish - half text speak, no grammar and abysmal punctuation. Usually written as it would be spoken but with absolute conviction it will be understood by all who see it. Shame there's a tendency for misinformation, obfuscation and lack of replies when one stumbles across posts like these.
Al
PS - Turks have cancelled but there are rumours of other F-16's attending.

We must bear in mind that younger aviation enthusiasts may contribute to this forum..before we make judgement.

Not heard anything about Portugeuse F-16s unless they're the other F-16s onemac is referring too.

Lets hope todays "yoof" can at least read,
9 - ALL posts must be made in English and readable with no text-speak at all. Text-speak is not regarded as a mode of communication here because it is pure idleness/laziness of the English Language. If you are in doubt of how to spell a word then please use google, a spell-checker or a dictionary.
Posts should never be made entirely with capital letters (neither should topic titles) - this is classed as shouting and is rude, posts should not be made-up entirely of lower-case letters either. Each sentence and thread-title should also start with a capital letter.
Can we remind all members to use grammar to the best of their abilities, we have a number of foreign members who are able to converse perfectly well in a language not their own - it is not beyond the realms of possibility that UK members should also be able to make themselves understood too.

Even if they did, doubt many of them would pay any attention! Anyway, gone off topic here.

Why has this degenerated into slagging off the OP?
Anyway....
Noble Arrow:

Not too much detail though
Friend at Lossie tells me Port AF F-16 and USN P-8s. Turks have cancelled

Thanks for that, don't suppose you know whether they're also staying here for Joint Warrior?

A couple of P-8's, CP-140 and an Atlantique. Portuguese F-16's are expected and Hawks are a possbility for a gas and go - all this at Lossie is what I've heard. I have no details on support aircraft.

Then they should only do so within the rules of the forum - after all it's the OP that is requesting information and our educational system prepares the youth of today for this structure and organisational method of writing. It's my opinion, not judgement, that the younger aviation enthusiasts treat forums as they would messaging on their mobile phones where there is little regulation, nor do they bear in mind that the forum is used by enthusiasts of all ages.

jem60 wrote:TOOM. I cannot agree more. Everything seems to be changing these days. Do they no longer teach English Grammar in schools??
We do. I'd also note the use of the additional question mark in your post which, presumably, is used incorrectly to add emphasis.
However I'd suggest anyone who thinks that grammar is not part of the English curriculum in schools searches out the spelling and grammar tests set for the 7 and 11 year olds last summer, has a go and then checks if they got full scores. As a primary head teacher I have to admit to not quite getting 100% in the latter.
ps
Jem - didn't realise it was you - good to see you last summer.

Lets not brand everyone with the same brush here. Judging from some posts across the forums recently, it seems to be all age groups making these grammatical errors.

I'm not branding everyone with the same brush here, we all make mistakes and I'll be the first to admit it.
