I quite liked the look of the boeing upgrade for the ov-10 it would make a good close support aircraft plus there must be many hanging about that could be used

After the Bronco display at Weston last year, I posted a comment on here with regards to taking them out of mothballs.

I wonder when my invitation to Policy Development will arrive from The Pentagon?

Most likely these were the two ex-NASA OV-10G+ returned to US Navy operations with RCU-1 (BuNos 155481 and 155492). These had been used earlier in Afghanistan on the Combat Dragon II program.

Incidentally, I noted (and reported) these on PP heading West along the French Med coast on 02 Oct 2015. See viewtopic.php?f=342&t=120560&hilit=155481

Running costs for F-15/FA-18(per hour),$40,000(fuel,maintenance,etc),OV-10,$1000!

I read on a news site - sorry I can't remember which one - about the 'vintage' aircraft that were being used to defeat 'them lot'
