Post by Tailplane » Sun Mar 06, 2016 1:12 pm

DAK the identity of this T-12, 1 of 8 parked at AMARG.

It might be, ZH663 (111) marked under the wing root.

Thanks.

The photos kicking about the web of the Harriers in the last days of service. Show ZH663 in 1(F) Sqn marking rather than IV(R)

'Does anyone know' the content of Forum rule number 9?
ME, ME, ME!

9 - ALL posts must be made in English and readable with no text speak at all, regardless of age or education. There are dictionaries available. Text speak is not regarded as a mode of communication here because it is pure idleness/laziness of the English Language. Posts should never be made-up entirely with capital letters, this is classed as shouting and is rude. Can we remind all members to use grammar to the best of their abilities, we have a number of foreign members who are able to converse perfectly well in a language not their own, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that UK folk should also be able to make themselves understood too.

Probably more suited to the 'Old 'or 'Recent serial tie-up area' of the Forum eh' Mods.?

Now that we have DAK translated. What is the rest of the alphabet mean that he typed out AISMTFTIBISASTSPAILWP?

I've often wondered why the moderators don't care about this sort of thing any more. Years ago they were hot on text speak, photos being displayed in the wrong sections, etc. But don't seem to bother any more?

When i saw DAK, i thought it must be some US military acronym!

The Phantom

I completely missed the acronym  Just finished a week of 12 hour shifts and I was brain dead yesterday.

There is only a handful of mod's who are active every day and sadly we can't be great all the time. Occasionally we miss posts as it impossible to check every post in every thread

No problem. Don't want it to seem like a criticism - because it's not; just something i've noticed a few times. But as you say, there is a lot of forum to keep an eye on.
Too much forum and not enough mods!!

Also i think Supra was asking you something....

OMG, (Oh My Gawd). I tried to sneak in an IA (Illegal Acronym) into the forum while the moderator was absent, but was caught RH (Red Handed) by the AS (Acronym Specials).

Well done lads, you all deserve a BP (Brown Point) which you can pin to your arrses with pride.

Regards.
