Americans doing a lot of training?
Americans doing a lot of training?
Is it me or does it seem like the Americans are doing a lot of training this week?
Re: Americans doing a lot of training?
They were very busy yesterday in and around East Anglia
Re: Americans doing a lot of training?
They do a lot of training every working day, be it in the air or on the ground.

Yeah, the post that suddenly went from 3,000 down to 1,000 sorties during March, due to mishearing some gossip.

The Ospreys have been down this way before, heard them at Keevil with their unmistakable sound. Saw one on Monday in formation with a Chinook near Trowbridge.

I've seen F-15s low over County Durham this week - not seen them for ages at low level.
Re: Americans doing a lot of training?
Wondered what was going on (I'm in Hilperton near Trowbridge), constant activity here at the moment. Even right now I can hear fast jets up above, it's been pretty much 24 hours solid now. Also had 3 Apaches low and fast, Chinooks, Ospreys and the usual C-17 but much more active than usual.
Not unusual to hear/see activity considering I'm a mile from Keevil, but the flight paths are all different and it's very rare to hear jets down this way.
