Folks,
Good evening everyone, I'm visiting Deblin Air Museum in Poland in the New Year and am after some information that may be useful, such as handy hints, anything else in the area etc, I'm staying in Lublin and driving up to the museum. Thanks Alan

Re: Deblin Air Museum Poland
I went to Deblin this year. Car parking at the museum itself was very limited however there was plenty in the town centre less than 10 minutes walk away. No food available to purchase on site. One of the hangars is only open on certain days of the week. I went on the correct day but still had trouble getting access to it. Eventually I managed it.

Don't forget "Lublin Airport" is home to AgustaWestland ( once PZL Swidnik ) - factory building, overhauling helicopters such as W-3 Sokol, SW-4 - some older Mi2 wfu too. Recent W-3 test flying for Uganda Police. Let us know what you see.

Hi Alan,
Been to Deblin a couple of times this past eighteen months. You’ve picked a good time to good as most of the massive growth to the exhibit numbers has occurred and I imagine the overhaul of the main entrance building will be complete or close to completion in the New Year.
I only recall the one hangar/exhibition hall. A new one with 3 aircraft in it.
Luckily, I haven’t had a problem with parking, but arriving as the museum opens will always help in that respect.
I’d go on to Euro Demobbed for local W&R. On the base Su-22 ‘201’ and TS-11 ‘1619’ can be viewed from outside. G.E will give you the vantage points. There are also lots of bags lined up containing TS-11s, if you’re into old bags.
We tracked around the base during the Radom air show w/end this year without incident.

Team Iskry is (if it is still going) is based there so you might be lucky enough to see them. The museum was quite interesting when I went a few years ago.
You may already be aware that the preserved concentration camp of Majdanek is in Lublin.
