What proof is there that the pieces are genuine and not from someone trying to make a quick buck?
I remember years ago there were some SR-71 panel screws on eBay, and they sold, can't remember how much for, but there seems to be a buyer for most stuff.
Not sure whether a fragment that small can be authenticated with 100% authenticity without scientific proof?

The museum has some very large pieces of the 'downed' F117 airframe on display so it follows that they could be selling-off small pieces to provide funds for the museum. In a similar way you could buy pieces of bottled rust that were from S.S. Great Britain!

Seems rather ghoulish to try to profit from an aircraft crash. Whatever next?

Wish I'd kept those bits from the one that took the barrier at Khamis in1991.
