Any 1939 Polish Air force experts on here?

Post by glasfryn » Tue Oct 28, 2014 9:59 pm

Hi, I am trying to find out for a friend about 162nd fighter escadrille, 6th Aviation Regiment. His grandfather was shot down flying a PZL P.7a in sept 1939. His grand fathers name was Zdzislaw Sieroslawski. He had amazing story of being a Russian POW then getting to the UK and then being part of the group of pilots that formed 318sqn.
Trying to find out about 162nd losses, to see if we can pinpoint when he was shot down. also any photos of a162nd PZLp.7a.
Cheers
