The Vulcan is provisionally down to be at Eastbourne the same day as Marham and Lowestoft (12th August) so that could potentially change things i guess. But it will be great seeing the Vulcan operate out of Marham

I would expect the Reds to be at Cranwell, they have a "Private Military Event" that day and are usually present. Until I started going to Fairford so early, I went every year to Cranwell the thursday before CFS Reunion it was badged as previously.

Historicaly, the Reds have displayed at the Shrivenham Militatry college, the Thursday prior to RIAT. Which this year is 15th July.

If any one could confirm if this might still go ahead, or if it this slot has been repalced with the Cranwell familes days - I'd be grateful.

Im not sure on this one, when/ if the reds release there time table i think will let you know, i think it would be a display at Cranwell and maybe a flypast for the other venue. Maybe even a display for both events.

Just found a Notam (sorry can't copy and paste the detail)

Reds will be at Shrivenham 11:55 to 12:35Z (12:55 to 13:35 BST) on 15th July.

They normally operate from Fairford for this, I think last year they arrived Thursday morning, refueled, did the display at Shrivenham and recoved to Fairford.

Hi

You are right, they did display shrivenham last year, I saw it in the distance from Fairford. It may well be that Shrivenham has replaced the usual Cranwell display. I know they did used to do the display at Cranwell the thursday before Fairford as it was a real highlight to my week, especially combined with the viewing point on the A17 and the rest of the line-up that it always attracted. Typhoon, spit, tonka and hawk plus the mighty reds.

Guess we will have to wait until the timetable is released.

I don't know participation details but understand that plenty of military aircraft have been invited for what will essentially be a fly-in with arrivals and departures tomorrow.

Should definitely be a Merlin from 78 Sqn - I know that much!
