They will come to Europe for sure. Where they will go first remains to be seen.

They were planned to be at Waddington until Friday 27th, so if they're not participating in any anniversary stuff with Digby then surely they will arrive this coming Friday?

If the NOTAM is related then looking at the times they should be getting airborne in the next few hours ?

Apparently cancelled for RS, as ramp 2, 3 &4 are in use as a refugee camp for Afghans. So no visitors at RS accept those for the Afghan evacuation

I have no proof otherwise but I think this is for a [large] bomber type as opposed to any RCAF Hornets. It might even be for a 'heavy' but it's too high for Hornets and I can't see any reason why they would fly from Gander to 'wherever', through the night.

Regards

Mark

Given what we all know is at Keflavik at the moment, my money is on them.

Track one looks typically like a tanker ( Lager5xx) out of Mildenhall etc

7 hour gap to the end of return track two

Two of the B-2 have only recently recovered back to BIKF Keflavik but I suppose they can go again. How many are there in Iceland?

When the notam appeared in this section is was naturally going to prompt a discussion or speculation? I was simply suggesting it looked like a tanker heading west to meet whatever was the subject of the notam - not hornets as it turned out.

I assume the Canadians are still in Gander?
