Mods cannot do everything.
An interesting difference of opinion, maybe due to a minor variation in culture, who knows? It is a matter for the individual.
Imagine this scene and your reaction to the situation.
Outside an airfield somewhere in the UK. A group of spotters spread along the fence line, some with ladders, others with platforms, most just standing on the ground looking for a clear space so that they can take a snap or two of the aircraft.
After some time, one chap decides to leave, packs his gear into his vehicle and departs leaving behind his small platform.
Two people notice the lonely platform. One person ambles over to it, folds it and walks to his vehicle and drives off in the opposite direction to the owner of the said platform.
The observer notes the vehicle registration number using his camera, packs his gear and drives home.
It's a question of culture. In my opinion.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

There's no "go-round" in a glider.

Re: Least favourite aircraft?
Compare the airframe of an Alpha Jet ( smooth and clean, only flying surfaces sticking-out ) and a mid-80s+ Hawk ( strakes and smurfs and vortex generators all over the place ) and you'll get part of the answer. Any interview I've read says the Alpha flies like a dream. And being twin-engined they were useful for asymmetric training.
Also DERA / QinetiQ got the Alphas at a good price and didn't have to subject themselves to MoD 'support'.
Anyway, I have to concur with the F-35. I've never been so disinterested in an aircraft, and that's saying something when my local airfield only has microlights and the Big Airport has Easyjet A320s. At least the X-32 looked distinctive.
