The A17 is only closed overnight.

Stupid basic question but is the practice planned for a 1pm or 2pm flyover Cranwell I get confused by all the GMT and BST
Re: King’s Coronation Flypast Info 25th - 27th April & 6th May 2023
I thought it was 14.30 over Cranwell, but someone else suggested it was 14.15

Is it still the case that its not a full flypast! Would also like to know if the Lossie Typhoons are coming south and recovering to Coningsby.
Re: King’s Coronation Flypast Info 25th - 27th April & 6th May 2023
The practice is normally never a full flypast.

I did have in mind that it may be on the half hour but which one 2.30 or 1.30.
And no as far as I know it is not a full flypast so for instance where there would be a formation of typhoons say for example spelling out something like CIIIR there would only be a "place sitting typhoon" for the practice. Whilst the practice for the special formation is done separately out the way of prying eyes over the north sea or something.

It was just a random example.

NOTAM says between 1300 hours and 1350 hours over Cranwell - I assume this is GMT/Zulu although it doesn't say. Flight level 3,000ft.
Re: King’s Coronation Flypast Info 25th - 27th April & 6th May 2023
All NOTAMs are in UTC.

Why don't people stop pointless answers and address the poster's question if they know what he is requesting!
Re: King’s Coronation Flypast Info 25th - 27th April & 6th May 2023
UTC/GMT/Zulu time isn't a difficult concept and has existed for many, many years so there's plenty about it online! However, as Google is apparently a step too far...
BST (that's British Summer Time for those struggling to keep up with the acronyms) is one hour ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time, more commonly known nowadays as Universal Coordinated Time - UTC, or if you're in the military, Zulu)
So 1300 UTC is 1400 BST.
However, I've not seen the NOTAM so I've no idea if it says 1200 (and is thus 1300 BST) or 1300 (and is thus 1400 BST) so I can't answer the question. What I can do is give the user the tools to work it out for themselves.

The document linked at the beginning of this thread does say to add one hour to get BST. Reading it may help and save a lot of wasted posts, like this one!
