I asked for Sheff's book on the TSR2 but that didn't appear so I'll have to buy it meself, but I did get two other books, Fighter Pilot the memoirs of Robin Olds which I'm some way in to and it's very good so far, and Palace Cobra which is about a 2nd Vietnam tour on F4's by Ed Rasimus. Has anyone read When Thunder Rolled ? It's his book about his first tour on F105's. Non aviation book was SHUT IT! brilliant, I've read it already, it's the story of the Sweeney TV programme. If you saw it first time round it'll bring back loads of memories.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Aviation related prezzies for me were the Corgi Miniature (Fit The Box) F-16 Fighting Falcon and the magazine publication Carrier Strike about the US Navy Carrier Air Wings - oh and not strictly aviation but a box set of the Batman Movies on DVD.

P.S. Got the RAF 2012 Calendar for my Birthday.
