Thanks all for clearing that up. Changed days, remember when these things were actually celebrated.
They still are, just not in the UK

True, where other countries celebrate their armed forces our lot tend to shy away in case they offend someone along the way.

Looking forward to tomorrow. It's not every day you'd do a 120 mile round trip to watch three aircraft perform a single pass. But there again, it's not you're normal day.....

Got them twice once at Andover and again at Waypoint Paulton Down 40 mins later. Both times low and banking. Defo on schedule or slightly early!
Saint1 were you up the little track just off Red Lane? I went to Boscombe Down then just made it in time to Poulton Downs too! Would be interested in seeing any pictures/video you got as I'm regretting not getting anything now...

Hi,
Layby just outside Ogbourne St Andrew, saw them banking behind Downs heading towards Shrivenham, amazing backdrop. Short clip in Video section of Andover flyover 40 mins earlier. Hope Boscombe was good. Saint1

Does anyone know if the fly-by on February 28th will be in the morning or afternoon?

OC on Marham Twitter saying all three of the painted tails available - he is beside the camo jet

Station Commander updates on FB etc. to say that the flypast at Leuchars will be from east to west, and Lossie will be north-east to south-west along 23. Weather looks good, and with all three specials serviceable it will hopefully be a decent final day for these flypasts.

On my way to Lossie, but not sure yet if I'll make it on time or where I'll end up. Hoping to be at Covesea to catch a distance view rather than getting snarled up in what will likely be a busy 23 end!

Lossie FB also confirmed that Tain AWR will be coming in from the north-east, passing Tarbat Ness.

1148 over Lossie from what I’ve heard, from the NE. Followed by a second flypast a few minutes after.

Have to say that was disappointing at Lossie, thought they were meant to follow the runway? By the time they reached Duffus castle at the 05 end they were three quarters of a mile off centre and into the sun, leaving a rather large audience totally miffed. Another half a*€#¥d effort by our finest.
