Is it the Sentinels ?, would make sense to have something tracking the ground targets, tanks etc.

Seen a report that Ethyl callsign tankers are over Canada, I believe these are for refuelling bombers. Could it be the americans are sending B2s over as part of there unique capabilities?

The Ministry of Defence has announced that a Royal Navy submarine has participated in a coordinated strike against Libyan air defence systems as part of the first stage of the coalition plan to enforce UN Resolution 1973.

The Chief of Defence Staff's Strategic Communications Officer Major General John Lorimer said:

"I can confirm that British Armed Forces, as authorised by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973, have participated in a co-ordinated strike against Libyan Air Defence systems.

"The UK has launched guided Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAM) from a Trafalgar Class submarine as part of a coordinated coalition plan to enforce the resolution.

"This is the first stage. UK and partner forces remain engaged in ongoing operations as we seek to ensure that Colonel Qadhafi and his forces understand that the international community will not stand by and watch them kill civilians."
