As someone who's about to buy a dSLR for 'general' use, the quoted comment kind of stuck out somewhat!
I know us spotters are generally very honest, super nice people :D and I would hope; sort of 'look out for each other' but , .. you don't know WHO reads the threads! :ninja:

Having not had a digital SLR before (I used to own a film-SLR some years ago) and don't want to break the bank; I was thinking along the lines of a Nikon D3300, or if I can wait another month or so maybe a D7100. The more I think about it though, the higher my budget seems to be getting ! .....

Decisions, decisions.

it was a stupid comment by a keyboard warrior. Think logically here.

1. If your gunna get mugged your ....gunna get mugged.
2. If you get mugged whats the chance of him picking you out and going ooo look its velvet glove from that website fighter control.co.uk. lets shoe him in.
3. If your going to be mugged your in the wrong darn place
4. And the only person wholl read this and mug you is a friend youve been out with on this forum who already knows whats in your bag.

Oh dear, .. someone having a bad day?
