Not surprising, the local press, IE Radio Lincs and the Echo feed up the chain, So News 24 probably haven't updated anything until they've confirmed the details.stuie492 wrote:BBC news24 saying pilot in critical condition?

Terrible news.

Re: Red Arrow incident - breaking news
If you have any respect, you wouldn't post at all.tg13 wrote:Wokka i see your a stones throw from EGXP,lol....was you there at the time of the incident,do you know anyone there...no,thought as much.I said 9:30ish for a reason....respect being the first reason....i suggest you reach for your your salt again!!
You must have something better to do than posting on threads like this saying you know more but are not prepared to say?
These threads only go one way in my experience...
Re: Red Arrow incident - breaking news
Your entitled to your opinion Tooks...just as i can exercise my freedom of speech....respect came in the form of not elaborating deeply on the incident...let's leave it at that.

Fair enough, in the circumstances, probably best.tg13 wrote:Your entitled to your opinion Tooks...just as i can exercise my freedom of speech....respect came in the form of not elaborating deeply on the incident...let's leave it at that.

If the above is true, let's hope the family don't hear it on skynews first, people really should use common sense with what they post in situations like this on a public forum....

Re: Red Arrow incident - breaking news
Only just come across this news on the internet - so in shock at the moment. I'm reading conflicting reports - some of serious injury, some fatality; so just hoping like mad that it's not the latter. This is terrible news

Re: Red Arrow incident - breaking news
BBC have somehow got a photo of the jet?
Let's hope it is only injuries from ejection and a swift recovery!!

Thanks for that Wendy. Yes I hope that the ejector seat head smashed most of the glass, but even so, injuries will be severe. I honestly hope and pray that the pilot is ok....
