I got the Avro Vulcan Haynes Manual. It's a really good book & has kept me away from the TV for a few hours. Also got the Hobbymaster model of the GR.9 Harrier. .

I asked for Sheff's book on the TSR2 but that didn't appear so I'll have to buy it meself, but I did get two other books, Fighter Pilot the memoirs of Robin Olds which I'm some way in to and it's very good so far, and Palace Cobra which is about a 2nd Vietnam tour on F4's by Ed Rasimus. Has anyone read When Thunder Rolled ? It's his book about his first tour on F105's. Non aviation book was SHUT IT! brilliant, I've read it already, it's the story of the Sweeney TV programme. If you saw it first time round it'll bring back loads of memories.
