The first KC-10 was delivered in 1981 but if we are talking ancient there are USAF KC-135s still in service that were built for example in 1959.

True, but they only bought 60 of them compared to 732, KC-135s. The first 10 retired has 33,000+ hours on the frame, the first 135R retired only had 22,500 hours on the frame, so yea compared to the 135 the 10s are ancient.
