I find it funny that when this sort of thing happens, it's never aviation enthusiasts involved.
Maybe if those present in future (or now) who see such things taking place, they should photo it and post it.

Tbh. I've got loads of Crap photo's taken a numerous airfields, but none of the 2 kilo' curl-outs you're referring to! ;)
I would certainly like to see a picture of the 'Phantom' visiting any of the Bases mentioned?
I'm okay with the photo bit, but I shudder to think what Royal Mail will charge to post it! :O
Royal Mail would be quite cheap as it would be turd class rather than first or second.

um, all but essential travel is still breaking the law, so whoever you are, you're breaking the law, selfish and filthy, or just local, selfish, lazy and filthy. Rubber dog muck at home, save lives.

The trouble is that with the advent of social media people are much more aware of Interesting happenings going on & take a trip to have a look what it's all about.
Many of them aren't enthusiasts don't do any research & are shocked to find that the airfield doesn't have toilets, Maccy D's etc. & have no idea where such facilities locally may exist should the need arise.

Then of course the local residents, complain to the local press & hey presto all enthusiasts are litter louts & crap everywhere with no respect for people that actually live there.

Of course COVID has further compounded the issue with people not being able to go on holiday's.

Looking at the camera gear a lot seem to carry, I'm not so sure about that.

Sorry but there's only so much you can get wound up by a topic sometimes so I thought a bit of light relief might help!

Far too many Dock Leaves around RAF Fairford exacerbates the problem. ;)

Maybe it was just a case of the so called "verbal diarrhoea" that is heard all too often at the fenceline.

I guess it is good that at these bad times, some can find a serious situation funny. I just hope they put as much energy in coming up with an answer to try and control or stop others from *hitting on your hobby.
