Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
32sqd ferry around top brass - this A109 went straight to the Reds area, rather than the normal parking spot, suggesting it was top brass visiting the Reds.
Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
Xingu’s have been parking there also. So think you could be wrong

Xingus take French Air Crew to use the Sentry SIM, which is why they park on bays 1-9.

Believe this was last Thursday when the base was shut - an Ascot callsign in a 32sqd A109 visited that day.sgtangel wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 6:32 pmhttps://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north- ... 962127.amp

Yes, makes you wonder. Looking at his CV, he has flown the Hawk before - presumably with 100 Squadron, did a year as Red 10 as commentator, but doesn't say he's actually done a tour in the formation.
Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
Looking at the Reds website, I cannot see any hope of change. They appear to be unable to admit they have even had a problem, despite the numerous headlines.
Pretty embarrassing really.

Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
Yes you can - you just don't put it on full show to the world. Give the new boss a chance to warm his seat first and see what happens.
Re: Red Arrows in Turmoil ?
Let us all hope that he and the rest of the RAF do learn from past poor practices.
The book:
A noble anger: the manslaughter of Corporal…
By David Hill. Illustrates and highlights many things/procedures that could do with addressing.
