Think you will find this is the plastic replica marked "XX308"RedsSnapper wrote:I *think* I'm correct in saying that XX308 may have been the one that was on Static at both Waddo & RIAT. In which case technically it's not actually a Reds jet, but presumably RAF PR?
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: Current Reds Hawks
XX306 is still supposed to be Scamptons gate guard at some point in the future the pads are ready outside the station head quarters. I've been told that if the Reds hadn't been in Cyprus last March 2013 the museum would of never got the Gnat which used to stand outside the Reds hangar.

Used again today at the Sunderland show after one of the jets went u/s. They were delayed by about 15 mins or so, I'd guess that a problem was only found as they went through pre flight checks.Supra wrote:I can confirm XX245 is configured as noted above due to Red 1 having to fly that jet for the Friday Show at Gilze Rijen 2014. His regular mount having gone u/s on the UK-NL transit flight.Longbow wrote:Its also worth noting that XX245 is a smokeless arrow. This aircraft does not have the smoke system fitted and carries a red painted gun pack on the centerline.
