Looking at some of the pics from the site it looks pretty much intact.SKY News saying they waiting to clear the ammo spread over the crash site and permission from the coroner before they remove the crew.Sooner the better for the famlies sake I think .

I thought that Bollo, but there is a picture about halfway down the page and it looks like wreckage the Helicopter in the picture could be the second HH-60 that was said to have landed there last night.

Regards

Indeed most of the images are focused on the second Pavehawk that landed to provide assistance.
Unfortunately the crash is seems unrecognisable as an aircraft.

Thanks for that bud,was not awaye another had landed at the site straight after. That would explain why its still there and would indeed be part of the investigation. Thanks again.

there is nothing left of the crashed aircraft, whatever happened to it ? there is just unrecognizable debris.

My thoughts are with RAF Lakenheath, families of crew and all affected by this

But looking at the wreckage - this doesn't appear to be a 'normal' crash as the debris field is large and the pieces of helicopter are so small. I won't say anymore

RIP CREW!!

Just seen images on the news, its just debris, you wouldn't believe it was a heli. Fingers crossed the 4 persons didn't suffer RIP
