AAC Bell 212 ....

Post by red_snowuk » Sun Jul 29, 2012 2:28 pm

Just looked out to see what I thought was a "Huey" type hello heading E to W south of High Wycombe.

Although distant, the bright orange roof gave me some google chances. It was an AAC Bell 212 :)

Not seen them around this way before, plenty of Chinooks in and out of the area tho. What is the main use of the 212 and where are they based?

Saw one heading over Church Crookham near Fleet on Sunday around 10.15, Guessing it was heading home to Middle Wallop !
