RAF crest pin badges

Post by GOOSE » Thu Jul 12, 2012 8:49 pm

20 or so years ago you could buy lapel pin badges of nearly every RAF Command, Station and Squadron.

The items were approximately an inch in length (top to bottom), gold in colour overall and with full colour crest.

Anyone know if such items are still available to purchase? I'd be particularly interested in a 5 Sqn one.

Many thanks.

There was a fellow selling them at RIAT. Along with sew on patches and my own personal collectable enamel aircraft, decent prices too. I'm sorry I didn't get his details but he was just round the corner from Squdron Prints stand (Between them and the C-5) They may know who it was. (Or maybe if you were to contact DBH ?)

Sorry Goose it's bad news - currently the Museum Shop has only a pin badge for one individual squadron, and it's not 5!

I sold one on ebay last year, along with some others. There was a good deal of interest in them, so it may be worth a look on ebay.
