Sad news, though not entirely surprising. I think they’ve been trying to retire the venerable Hog for years.

Absolute beast though, used to love seeing pairs and fours of these low over East Anglia. Those were indeed, the golden days of aircraft spotting.

Certainly will miss the unique whine of those engines on climb-out and the mid-air acrobatics the Hog could perform. Hope they make another return to the UK before they go.
