I think only WT001 has flown (and not since October). The other two are still in various stages of construction with STS at Birmingham.

First one is having its mission kit fitted before undergoing a period of flight testing.

A737 from the ground up or existing aircraft being modified (in which case they have already flown)?

Is there a link to anything on here or elsewhere please? I have no idea even of dates and there is nothing on UK Serials.

Thanks. I wonder if that means 002 will fly this year.

Not sure they would be regarded as "stored", WT002 looks quite well into its conversion and WT003 is being worked on too. More of a work in progress than stored.

They are not stored but that’s how Planebase’s refers to any out of service aircraft that is not preserved.

For those with PlanePlotter who would like to set up an alert for when they eventually fly, the U.S Hex codes are A76585 and AD2745.

So, 5 year old air frames by the time they get into service, and over 4 years to convert them, no wonder the RAF is in the mess it is and so far behind everyone else.
Like all procurement, too many fingers in the pie, no incentive to get it done, and taxpayers always pay!
