Hope it's as good as the trailer is. Only thing is my nearest IMAX is 40 miles away.

Looked up my nearest one last night, it's around 70 miles away near Dunfermline. It's an odeon and in keeping with the modern trend of having a "slick" website it was absolutely useless trying to find out if they are even showing it.

I can't find it in the listings on Imax's UK website nor in the listings or mentioned on the websites of the two screens near me. I'd have thought the London one would show it, they are normally pretty good at showcasing anything spectacular but it's not listed.

I remember a few years ago "Red Flag" that never made it to the UK, so don't hold your breath.
I have seen some Imax movies in Bangkok and they were stunning, probably because the screen was so huge, I went to see Top Gun Maverick in Imax at Nottingham and was disappointed with the Imax factor.
I am hoping Blue Angels comes to Imax London Waterloo, 100 miles away, but I believe the best in the UK.

For those interested in the London area, it would appear IMAX Waterloo is showing this on the 19th May at 11am.

There may be other IMAX cinemas showing it too.

I finally got a reply from Odeon cinemas, they don't know if they are showing it or not! judging from their website it would seem not.

Just book my tickets for tomorrow morning at the IMAX at Cheltenham. I hope it's going to be worth the 60 mile round trip.

Went and watched it this morning and it was excellent. Not only did it cover the flying aspect with some excellent air to air filming, it also covered behind the scenes and the recruitment of new pilots for the following season. The air to air shots really shows how close they get.

Thanks to Elderforset for the original post without it I would of not found out about this film.

I watched it last night, very good it is too. It would be better in IMAX if it comes to this country or if any members go to the USA for their holidays.

It was available in IMAX in the UK, It just wasnt very popular, Cineworld at Rushden Lakes showed it last Saturday and there was only about 6 tickets showing as sold the night before, It was also shown at Odeon in Milton Keynes on Thursday but not sure how busy that was

I did want to see this but unfortunately there didn't seem to be one near me. I was considering a round trip of over 120 miles to go to Dunfermline to see it but a request to Odeon cinemas went unanswered for nearly 2 weeks and when they did bother to answer they didn't know if they were showing it or not.

A member on here put me on to a cinema in Edinburgh that was showing it. However it appears to have been a run of only one week and on going onto Cineworlds site for times, as far as I could make out they were only deciding on the day when they were going to play the one showing and advertising it on their site. Nothing showed for the following days, but on checking in on the following days they were advertising it only on the day.

I think the problem in this country is that non aviation folk haven't got a clue who or what the Blue Angels are.
