Not at the moment. The notam gives no back up slot and there is no new update to it.
With other users of Southern England airspace ie Heathrow and to inform them all other user's in time to keep everyone safe would be difficult

I heard yesterday that it’s highly likely it will be cancelled & to avoid putting any pilot in unnecessary danger due to bad weather.

A hideous amount of money has been spent up to this point, so I'd expect everything to get airborne at least. You know, the same as they always do.
Windsor Weather 1 and 2 will run through in the buildup (sometimes more than once) and a decision will be made as late as possible.
Not sure why the tabloids are now considered factual reporting points, considering the original news was taken from someone suggesting it might be cancelled on here!

There is only one accurate weather forecast in the UK....Look out the window close to the location you want to be at & ask yourself "Do ya feel lucky Punk, well, Do ya?"

Just been watching an item about flypast on BBC Look North from Coningsby. The main issue that they are concerned about is the cloud base.

I don't think that the amount of money spent will in any way influence the decision... Getting 'airborne at least'... is pointless if the tasking cannot be achieved within the set limits.POL wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 5:13 pmA hideous amount of money has been spent up to this point, so I'd expect everything to get airborne at least. Those involved will attempt to achieve the tasking safely and within the set parameters.

The RAF's 75th Flypast was cancelled in 1993 but I can't recall if anything got off the ground. Anyone remember? Absolutely bucketed down.

Did any additional typhoons arrive at coningsby today from Lossiemouth? I’d say that’d be your answer

Whenever I’ve done CAA courses the restrictions are very strict especially flying over rural areas in bad weather. I will be absolutely amazed if the draken appears at midlands air festival.

The Lossie pilots have been using 3/11sqd jets, they haven't brought any of their own.
