I’m honoured to have one of my shots of the RAF P-8A Poseidon as this years front cover, Thanks!

It’s an annual tradition this and CAM, enjoy highlighting the serials etc. Good fun & always look forward to it every year.

So pleased this is returning! It’s been an annual tradition of mine since the 1980’s. Thank you so much.

So pleased with this edition. The US section has been improved in my opinion. Now includes F15Es and a more sensible approach to serials. Well done. Thank you for your time and effort.
Re: Military Aircraft Markings 2023
Surely F-15E serials have been included for many years, or does it include all USAF F-15E serials now and not just LN based airframes?uncle whikas wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 4:16 pmNow includes F15Es and a more sensible approach to serials.

All F15 E serials,LN SJ MO and other based ET and W A aircraft. It’s not just UK Eagles.
A great improvement.

With sensible approach you mean they are presented fy-xxxx instead of xxxxxx in fy blocks?uncle whikas wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 4:16 pmSo pleased with this edition. If so it might be a reason for me to buy a new one after last years one. As the US section (especially the C-130) is really a mess in my opinion and very hard to find anything.
Apart from that, always a great publication.

Re: Military Aircraft Markings 2023
Well done, unfortunately I can take NO credit for that, because I was working to such tight timescales this time I was unable to provide much in the way of photos, Howard provided most of the content as you will have seen in the book, but he didn't think he had anything suitable for the cover so Crecy agreed to source it directly, which clearly they did!NCLairpics wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 10:09 pmI’m honoured to have one of my shots of the RAF P-8A Poseidon as this years front cover, Thanks!

Well done Stuart. Great work
Re: Military Aircraft Markings 2023
Just starting to reminisce with a look back and highlight the Aircraft I’ve seen and half the aircraft from way back when - the 1980s nearly no serials remain, the odd Jet Provost, Sea King etc but a majority are no longer in existence. Sad but inevitable. Be interesting to see what I have when eventually I get up to date.
