Well the B-21 sort of looks like a B-2.... So you never know. !!
The B-21 will be replacing the B1 and B2 anyway, that's fact, so it doesn't need an expert here to put the decommissioning plan together......

C24 I take it linking Rutland to the Wash is to allow the Squadrons of C-130 floatplanes to operate.

I was referring to Alfs comment of bring back the YF-23, and that as the B-21 is almost a B-2, who knows, we may see the F-23 again... Actually probably not sadly

Not a bad thought - maybe we could have some scooters as red air :thumb:

Maybe the 10% were rockers. I don't know how old you are cat1 but mods and rockers were 1960s subcultures hence the scooters reference.

The myriad of front line types operated by the RAF would still be wearing grey/green camouflage and full colour squadron markings and would be seen flying through the Mach Loop on a regular basis.

RAF Binbrook would be reopened as a fighter base and 3 squadrons of lightnings would fly from their again

I looked at concept photo of the floatplane which together with someone's mention of Sunderland flying boat called for serious review.
You are all aware of the Guppy transport. The plan is now to convince the Marines (- tell it to the Marines as the saying goes) that a Modified C-130 with a Sunderland lower hull combined with a PBY retractable under cart would give them the aeroplane to fit the bill.
A new base in Europe could be built in the UK, SAY, Teesside or Sunde...?

 back to the original question but skew it a little. what if FC WAS TO BE RUN BY THE MOD.?

A radical clean sweep from me. Bin the F35 and visit Davis Monthan to get some good used plane deals. The Navy would be expected to bring Her Majesty some spoils from its voyages and perhaps a bit of extorsion with the Subs ( nice Capital you have there ,shame if it got broken). The Army would absorb the RAF Regiment and the marines. A 50% cut in the number of civil servants and sacking without pension those who have done poor procurement deals.

Not too arsed about the colour schemes but as long as they’re looping, that’s good enough for me!

Obviously what this forum wants and what is realistic are two different things. I’d happily have 11 squadrons of Tornados but with AESA radars alongside x many Typhoon, F-35 and Harrier squadrons and as per above, all looping on a regular basis. I wouldn’t go as far as bringing the Shackletons back tho!

Either the Russians or the Chinese would probably have seized on the opportunity to over run the country.
