times have changed since I served (which was not long ago!), seeing the Stn Cdr with his hands in his pockets! where has the standards gone

Whaaaaat? Have QRs changed in the last 20 years? OK I was not a regular but as an ex-ATC WO I find that appalling.

I'm totally with you!
As an ex RAF Aircraft Engineering Technician, spending 4 great years at Marham on 55 Sqn, and culminating my career as a WO, the Stn Cdr would certainly get a timely word in his shell like (that would be both his ears 'warmed' from us).
Hope the AOC doesn't see it...

Well, at least with his hands in his pockets he seems to have distracted people away from posting that the Victor’s disposal is a travesty!

Hands in their pockets, beards, how will they ever be able to fight the enemy? or maybe...…… they're still darn good at what they do?
