XW358 Jet provost T5A

Hello all after a visit to kemble the other day I noticed this aircraft fuselage located in the scrapping compound I believe it arrived on the 16th of June does anyone know the story behind it?

Arrived before the 16th June, noted it present on 12th.

It's been acquired by someone who works at ASI Kemble, so reports of its demise are premature.

Thanks MRay I assumed it was being scrapped due to its position on the airfield and the fact that it was missing it's wings. Good to know it may yet be saved.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering why anyone would go to the expense of moving it all the way to Kemble instead of using a local scrap dealer! It's good to know another JP has been saved to join all the others in existence. :thumb:
