"Spider" and Flamborough track maps - sought / help

Post by GOOSE » Wed Feb 19, 2020 12:48 pm

Many moons ago on a previous incarnation of Fighter Control, and at one time Aeroresource, there existed a map / diagram showing all UK air to air refuelling areas. This map also included the Spider and Flamborough tracks. I've searched for these unsuccessfully. Could anyone help / supply a copy? Many thanks.

From a post on that same site from Razor61
If you go to here
http://fightercontrol.co.uk/aviationmaps.asp

Click on the Air Refuelling maps i made... it will show AARA08.
This is near where "Spider Track" is located however not having any co-ordinates handy for the four datums and the CP/IP lat/long i was unable to draw it on the map.

Spider is only used by the 100ARW out of Mildenhall.
Unfortunatly that link he gives is dead.

Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film.

Spider, which is only used when the sea state is too high for a training sortie to take place over water, has changed coordinates.
They are:
N57.15,W6.15
N56.49,W4.32
N56.22,W2.51
N55.26,W1.52
N53.51,W0.04
N52.38,W0.33
