The well known ex USMC pilot in the USA has sidelined flying his own SHAR and put the T Bird project on hold for more important $$$$$ making work. That should tell you all you need to see where this will go/end up.

The costs would be astronomical, let alone all the certification hoops to jump through, I really can't see it happening, as much as I'd like to.
